Archaeological Studies

Ceres Associates prepares Archaeological Survey Reports, which report on the effects that a potential project would have on historic properties, pursuant to the National Historic Preservation Act. The reports include a search of maps and records, a field survey of the project's archaeological area of potential effects (APE), and preparation of an archaeological survey report. Upon completion of the Archaeological Survey Report, Ceres summarizes the results in a Historic Property Survey Report. This document describes the project's APE, presents the results of public participation, lists resources identified within the APE, and provides a summary of findings.
