Wetlands Delineations and Expert Consultations

Wetlands delineations and expert consultations are needed on many projects. Ceres conducts wetlands studies to assess the presence or absence of waters subject to regulation by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) pursuant to the Clean Water Act. A technical evaluation is conducted as to the extent of Corps jurisdiction, in accordance with Corps regulations and required methodology, and based on current and historic land use conditions. All areas identified as waters of the United States or wetlands are reviewed with respect to the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision regarding isolated waters or for possible exemption from Corps regulations.
