Most of the work that we conduct on a daily basis has to do with solving problems. Clients come to us that are under regulatory oversight, or who have a real or potential environmental problem, and they ask for our help. Most of the time the problem is unexpected and the solution calls for an expenditure that was not in the budget. Creating innovative solutions to problems that are sometimes very complex becomes paramount for many of our clients. They want their problem to achieve regulatory closure, and they want it done quickly.
Most consultants can solve a problem by plodding through normal timelines and using standard techniques. Where we excel is making the client, the regulator, and ourselves a team that works together to accomplish a solution. Under this process the solution then comes more rapidly, and most-often more cost effectively.
Today's world is fraught with environmental concerns of a higher level. The last several decades have been spent in an incredible amount of development, but at a great cost to our fragile environment. For the last 10 years, Ceres Associates has scoured the globe to find innovative technologies that have a positive cost/benefit ratio that could have a significant impact on improving the state of our surroundings, such as: waste-to-energy, tire recycling, composites recycling, diesel exhaust elimination, soil and groundwater remediation technologies, waste water and sludge remediation, and of course green building products.
It is our ambition to do much more than our part to develop and sustain our environment so that our children and theirs inherit a place that is much better than the place that we have created.
